No Classes 7/27-8/3!
7/19-8/8/15: Rotation, Rotation, Rotation
Who doesn't love a mustache baby? We've got lots of mustache games as we learn to twist and rotate. We'll work on side breathing/body roll in the pool, open/closed hips on the wall, and twisting poses on the mat.
Swimmers will be playing with rotation in the pool and incorporating these concepts into their stroke work.
Climbers will be using easier holds on more difficult walls as they learn to rotate their hips to take advantage of wall angles. The majority of the class will be spent bouldering.
Yogis will join Mustache Baby for some fun twisting and spinning today. We will definitely be flipping our down dogs.
3/10-3/25/15: Balance, Balance, and More Balance
We're bringing everything into balance on the water, the wall, and the mat.
Swimmers will learn to keep the body in balance during freestyle and to use an effective pull. We will work on getting into a back float from a standing position and recovering from a sinking float. These are great safety skills to add to every swimmers quiver!
