9/12-9/24/15: Diving, Sending, Projecting
There's a bug invasion at PBJ! There will be lots of hungry caterpillars and creepy spiders as we learn about Diving in the pool, Sending/Projecting on the wall, and Creepin’ & Crawlin’ on the mat.
There will be NO Classes 9/25-10/2/15!
Yogis will read Eric Carle books and follow along with fun yoga poses for each animal and insect they meet.
6/28-7/18/15: Pull, Crux, & Free Space
We'll run into aliens and climb through moon craters on our space adventure. We'll use our arms in the pool, our critical thinking on the wall, and let go on the mat.
Swimmers will be focusing on their arms.
There will be NO lessons 7/8-15!
Astronauts will practice critical thinking to rocket through the crux (most difficult part of a climb).
We'll blast off for some interstellar relaxation & fun alien movement. Students will go home with their completed pebble project to practice meditation at home.
2/24/15-3/9/15: Diving, Sending, Gratitude
In honor of Theodore Seuss Geisel's birthday on March 2nd, we'll be incorporating early literacy into all of our classes and playing with fun Seuss characters and games.
Swimmers will learn to dive in head first and gain independence on feet first jumps. We will encourage independent breathing and swimming longer distances by starting each turn with a jump/dive. All students will work on age/level appropriate skills.
Climbers will learn that hard work pays off by projecting and making a plan to send. "And will you succeed? Yes you will indeed! (98 and 3/4 percent guaranteed)". Each class will cover age/level appropriate skills. The majority of the class will be spent bouldering.
