Take a Breath
5/24-6/13/15: Breath Control, Resting & Breath Awareness
There will be no lessons 6/2-6/8!
Take a break and take a breath! Our athletes are slowing down this week to focus on the breath. We'll practice bubbles and side breathing in the pool, resting and stemming on the wall, and focusing on our breath on the mat.
Swimmers are learning all about breath control. From keeping that nasty water out of your nose to perfecting freestyle breathing techniques.
Climbers will be focusing on resting and stemming. Everyone will learn age/level appropriate skills. The class will be split 50/50 between bouldering and toproping.
Yogis will practice focusing on the breath. Kids will decide what kind of breathwork suits their mood, and what poses will make them feel good. We are continuing Thich Nhat Hanh's Pebble Meditation and kids will bring home their own bag of pebbles for home practice at the end of the series.

What is a Jelly?
A Jelly is the focus or theme of a class. Each Jelly lasts for 2-4 weeks and spans across the disciplines.
